Accessibility and Special Needs

For guests with special needs, Guest Services Representatives are available to help guests to their seats and assist with other needs throughout the event. Guests can contact Guest Services prior to an event to arrange for assistance at 404-878-3000.

During an event, guests can contact Guest Services for assistance via text message at 404-996-1898, or ask the closest Philips Arena team member for assistance.

Guests with accessible needs may enter the arena 15 minutes early through the “Hawks Season Ticket Members” doors located at the following entrances:

  • MARTA Entrance
  • CNN Center Atrium / Hawk Walk
  • Techwood Entrance

Accessible Parking

Philips Arena offers accessible parking in all of our parking decks. Spots are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Accessible Seating

Philips Arena has many accessible seating options available in all price ranges. Guests in need of accessible seats may purchase tickets through Ticketmaster (www.ticketmaster.com or (800) 745-3000) or at the Philips Arena Box Office. For more info please call (404)- 878-3000.

Guests who purchased non-accessible seats and need accessible seats can exchange the tickets at the Philips Arena Box Office, subject to availability.

Companion seats are available with the purchase of an accessible seat, within the public ticket limit set by the artist / event.

Assistive Listening Devices

Assistive Listening Devices are provided free of charge at the Guest Sales and Service Center and the Concierge Desk. A driver’s license or credit card will be held as a security deposit.

Interpreters

Philips Arena will make every effort to provide sign interpreters to guests with hearing disabilities upon request. Please contact Philips Arena 30 days in advance to arrange this service at 404-878-3000. All services must be approved by the artist / show.

Admission

All guests entering Philips Arena must have a valid event ticket to gain admission. Guests should retain their ticket stubs in order to verify proper seat location. Re-entry to the arena is prohibited.

Atlanta Hawks Games

Children under the age of two years old do not need a ticket to enter.

Concerts & Other Events

For most events, children under the age of two years old do not need a ticket. However, this policy may vary for certain events. For more information on specific events, please visit the event listing at www.PhilipsArena.com/events or call (404) 878-3000.

Alcohol Policy

Alcohol is sold only to guests 21 years of age and older, with proper identification.

ATMs

ATMs are located in the following areas:

  • Near the Georgia’s Own Credit Union Club entrance to club seating
  • On the main concourse across from Portal 9
  • On the upper concourse across from Portals 21 and 22 

Baby Changing Stations

Baby Changing Stations are located in select restrooms throughout the arena. A Philips Arena team member can help direct you to the closest location.

All family restrooms have Baby Changing Stations. These are located at Portals 13, 20 and 27.

Backstage Passes

Backstage passes are not available through Philips Arena. For backstage pass inquiries, please contact the artists’ record label or the event promoter.

Bag / Purse Policy

Please only bring a small purse or personal item with necessities for your visit to Philips Arena. All bags are subject to search upon entering the arena. Large bags and backpacks are prohibited. Please plan accordingly to help facilitate a quick and efficient entry process.

Banners & Signs

Banners or signs that obstruct the view of guests, obscure advertising, impeded the operation of Philips Arena, contain objectionable subject matter, or are commercial in nature are not permitted. Philips Arena reserves the right to remove any banner at any time.

Sign policies may vary for certain events. Please call (404) 878-3000 for questions regarding specific event policies.

Box Office

The Box Office is located on the Centennial Olympic Park Drive side of Philips Arena behind the structural ATLANTA letters.

Camera / Recording Devices

Still cameras (non-professional) are allowed at sporting events, including Atlanta Hawks and Atlanta Dream games.

The use of still cameras during concerts and events is determined by the artist / event, but please note that most events do not permit the use of professional cameras, cameras with detachable lenses or audio / video recording.

Catering

Levy manages all catering needs at Philips Arena. Whether you are planning a corporate meeting, a pre-show reception or formal dinner, Levy offers a variety of options to accommodate your needs. After booking your event at Philips Arena, our event coordinator will connect you with Levy to arrange your food and beverage service.

Cell Phones

Cellular phones are permitted inside Philips Arena provided their use is not disruptive to the performance, event or the surrounding guests. The use of camera and video features may be restricted if requested by the artist / event.

Center Club

Center Club is a full-service bar catering exclusively to Club Seat and Suite Holders for every concert, family show and Hawks game.

Center Club is also available for private events and is an excellent place to entertain clients, celebrate special events, or simply relax before and during an event. For more information, please visit our Premium Seating Clubs & Spaces page or call (866) 715-1500, option 2.

Club Seats

Club Seats are located in the lower level of the Arena between sections 101-107 for Hawks games. These amazing seats also come with exlusive use of the Georgia's Own Credit Union Club.

Concessions / Food & Beverage

Outside food and drinks are not allowed in Philips Arena. However, there is a wide variety of food and drink options available to guests once inside the arena, including a unique restaurant dining experience, called RED by Wind Creek. Levy manages concessions throughout the arena, including the Buckhead Life mini-restaurants in the Club: Chops Clubside, NAVA South, Pricci di Fibi and Buckhead Diner Too.

Major credit cards are accepted at all permanent and portable concession stands operated by Levy, however 3rd party vendors accept cash only.

Designated Driver Program

The Atlanta Hawks & Philips Arena strive to educate patrons about personal responsibility, inform fans and guests of the danger of impaired driving, and seek to ensure safe travel of those attending concerts and sporting events at Philips Arena.

Individuals who sign up receive a coupon for one free Coca-Cola fountain product and have their names entered for a chance to win an Atlanta Hawks prize pack. The Designated Driver program sign-up is available online or at the Guest Service Center on the main concourse across from Portal 9 and Hawks Shop and is in operation for all sporting events and concerts. Donations

For Hawks ticket donations or appearance requests, please visit the Atlanta Hawks Donations & Appearance Requests page on Hawks.com.

Door Time

Doors open at varying times according to the nature of the event and preference of the promoter / artist. Typically, times are as follows:

  • Regular season Atlanta Hawks games, doors open 90 minutes before the start of the game.
  • Atlanta Dream games and family shows, such as the circus, ice shows and character shows, doors open 60 minutes before show time.
  • Concerts generally open doors 90 minutes before show time.

Ejections / Guest Removal

Guests not abiding by the Fan Code of Conduct (see below) are subject to ejection from Philips Arena, and in some cases criminal prosecution. 

Elevators and Escalators

Elevators are for priority use of disable guests; all other guests should use stairwells and escalators when possible.

Elevators are located in the following areas:

  • Georgia’s Own Credit Union Club
  • The North end of the main concourse, near RED
  • The Techwood Entrance
  • Portal 7

Escalators are located in the following areas:

  • Next to the Guest Sales & Service Center across from Portal 9
  • The Techwood Entrance 

Emergency Evacuation

Philips Arena staff members have been trained in emergency preparedness and evacuation procedures. In the event of an emergency, please follow the direction of Philips Arena staff for your safety and the safety of others.

Emergency Medical Services / First Aid

First Aid is located on the lower level of the arena across from Portal 9 and on the upper level of the arena across from Portal 21.

Entrances

Philips Arena has seven entrances:

  • Techwood Entrance – located on Centennial Olympic Park Drive. This is also where the Box Office is located

  • Hawk Walk Entrance – located at the end of the CNN Center Food Court

  • Georgia’s Own Credit Union Club Entrance – located on Philips Drive and restricted to club and suite ticket holders only

  • Taco Mac – located on the upper and lower levels of Taco Mac Restaurant

  • Club Bridge Walkway – located on Centennial Olympic Park Drive, accessible from the CNN Parking Deck

  • International Blvd. Entrance – located on Andrew Young International Blvd

  • MARTA Entrance – located outside the Dome / GWCC / Philips Arena / CNN Center station

Fan Code of Conduct

Philips Arena is committed to exceeding the expectations of every guest by delivering the best sports and entertainment experience. With your assistance and compliance and as a means of creating a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, Philips Arena is committed to providing an environment free from the following:

  • Abusive or foul language and obscene gestures directed toward other guests, arena employees, players, coaches and officials.
  • Clothing containing offensive language or indecent graphics.
  • Intoxicated or drug impaired guests.
  • Banners or signs that obstruct the view of guests, obscure advertising, impede the operation of Philips Arena, contain objectionable subject matter or are commercial in nature. Philips Arena reserves the right to remove any banner at any time.
  • Smoking, except in designated areas (located on the outside of the arena).
  • Thrown objects, either within the seating section or onto the basketball court or event performance area.
  • Prohibited entry items such as containers, food & beverage, air horns, vuvuzelas, weapons and laser pointers. Professional cameras, video cameras, and audio recorders are prohibited when posted for certain events.
  • Guests entering or attempting to enter restricted areas without proper authorization or credentials.
  • Guests who are disruptive to the event presentation, performance or game.

Guests encountering difficulties and concerns are urged to contact the Philips Arena Guest Service Staff immediately.

Guests can now send a text message to 404-996-1898 to report any issues or concerns they may have during an event. A Guest Services Representative will go to the location in which the issue was reported to resolve the matter.

Guests not abiding by this Guest Code of Conduct are subject to ejection from Philips Arena and, in some cases, subject to criminal prosecution.

First Aid

First Aid is located on the lower level of the arena across from Portal 9 and on the upper level of the arena across from Portal 21.

Flyers

The distribution of any flyers, leaflets, stickers, or petitions on Philips Arena property must be approved from management in writing prior to the event.

Fundraising

The majority of the concession stands at Philips Arena are staffed by non-profit organizations working to earn money for their organizations.

Our partners at Levy Restaurants, exclusive provider of food and beverage at Philips Arena, are currently recruiting non-profit groups looking for ways to raise money for their organizations by working in our concession stands during all sporting and other events at Philips Arena.

Guest Services

The Philips Arena Guest Sales & Service Center is located near the Hawk Walk entrance across from Portal 9.

Guest Sales & Service Center attendants are available at every event to answers questions, assist and resolve service challenges, and provide various specialized services from the moment the doors open until the conclusion of each event.

In addition to answering questions and addressing service needs, the Guest Sales & Service Center is a great resource to provide the following services:

  • Complimentary Assisted Listening Devices available for individuals
  • Complimentary house phone available for outgoing local calls 
  • Directions and phone numbers to local hotels, restaurants and shops 
  • Directions to major highways and roads 
  • Environmental or maintenance requests 
  • Escorts for wheelchair and physically challenged guests 
  • Escorts for visually impaired guests 
  • Facility and concession menus and information 
  • Redemption and collection of Lost and Found items during the event

Hawks Shop

Atlanta Hawks merchandise is available through www.hawksshop.com and at Hawks Shop at Philips Arena.

Hawks Shop is open during all Hawks games. Hawks Shop is open on non-event days from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. and on event days from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Hawks Shop is accessible from the CNN Center food court.

LEED Information

Philips Arena achieved coveted LEED Certification and became the first-ever Green NBA Arena in April of 2009.

What is LEED Certification?

LEED, or leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is an internationally-recognized green building certification system. Developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USBGC) in March 2000, LEED provides building owners and operators with a framework for identifying and implementing practical and measurable green building design, construction, operations and maintenance solutions.

LEED promotes sustainable building and development practices through a suite of rating systems and credits that recognize projects that implement strategies for better environmental and health performance.

Philips Arena is located in Downtown Atlanta’s Luckie Marietta District. The arena is west of the intersection of Marietta Street and Centennial Olympic Park Drive (formerly Techwood Drive), adjacent to the CNN Center.

Lost & Found

During events, the Guest Service Center, located near the Hawk Walk / CNN Entrance across from Portal 9, serves as the lost and found headquarters for our non-club guests. The Main Concierge Desk, adjacent to the Georgia’s Own Credit Union Club Entrance on Philips Drive, serves as the lost and found headquarters for our club and suite guests.

  • After an event, please call (404) 878-3000, option 3 or email lost.found@hawks.com and leave a detailed message including: your name, your phone number, the event at which your item was lost, and a description of the item. Your phone call or email will be returned within two business days.
  • Lost item pick-up is available by appointment during regular business hours with limited availability after hours and on weekends.

Lost Guests

If a member of your party is lost, please notify a Guest Services Representative. The Guest Sales and Service Center located across from Portal 9 is a convenient meeting location for lost guests.

Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Ticket Policy

Lost and stolen tickets are only able to be replaced at the Box Office and if the tickets were purchased directly from Ticketmaster.com or by phone at 1(800) 745-3000. The purchaser of record must bring the credit card used for purchase and a valid, matching photo ID in order to have the tickets replaced.

For questions or concerns regarding Hawks tickets, please contact your account representative or 1(866) 715-1500 for assistance.

Unfortunately, Philips Arena is unable to reprint tickets that were purchased via third party or resale sites. Please contact your point of purchase for assistance in those cases.

Luckie Marietta District

Philips Arena is in the heart of downtown Atlanta’s Luckie Marietta District (LMD). The Luckie Marietta District is a collection of hotels, attractions and restaurants. Attracting 1.9 million visitors annually, the LMD is a one stop shop with notable entertainment, meeting facilities, sports venues and dining options all within walking distance.

Media Credentials

Atlanta Hawks Single-Game Media Credentials

Single-game credentials (press and photo) must be requested no later than 12 noon the day before the game (Friday noon for weekend or Monday games). Please click here for Hawks PR contact information. Pre-arranged credentials may be picked up from the Media Entrance on the service level of Philips Arena. Those requesting single-game credentials will be seated on a first-come, first-served basis. All requests from international media must go directly through NBA International PR (212-407-8000).

Concert and Event Media Credentials

Media credentials for concerts and events are approved through the event promoter and tour publicist. Requests must be submitted via email to Annabelle Bower, (annabelle.bower@hawks.com) at least one week prior to the event date. Consideration will only be given to requests made by accredited members of the media. 

Messaging on Video Board

Fans interested in running a message on the video board during Atlanta Hawks games should contact the Atlanta Hawks for information at (404) 878-3800. All requests must be submitted at least 3 business days in advance of the game and are subject to availability. 

Parking

There are many parking options in the arena surrounding Philips Arena. Please visit our Directions & Parking page for additional information.

The parking decks closest to the arena are as follows:

  • Centennial Deck, on the corner of Marietta Street and Centennial Olympic Park Drive
  • CNN Deck, south of the Centennial Deck on Centennial Olympic Park Drive
  • Georgia Dome Decks, accessible via Northside Drive or Mangum Street

Advanced parking is available for purchase through Ticketmaster.com.

Party Suites

Philips Arena Party Suites are the ultimate entertainment experience! Party Suites are perfect for hosting a birthday party, a reunion party, engagement party, or any other special event that you can think of for groups of 20 – 120 people!

Prohibited Items

Philips Arena does not permit the following items into the arena:

  • Weapons (guns, knives, pepper spray, mace, chains, spiked bracelets, brass knuckles, etc.)
  • Backpacks or large bags
  • Outside food or beverages
  • Air horns, electric noise makers or vuvuzelas
  • Illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia
  • Fireworks
  • Silly string or projectiles
  • Laser light pointers
  • Professional cameras, audio and video recording devices (camera policy subject to change based on event/artist)

Philips Arena Management reserves the right to prohibit other items as deemed necessary.

Public Transportation

MARTA trains are the most convenient public transportation means to reach Philips Arena. The arena station is on the Green and Blue lines – Dome/GWCC/Philips Arena/CNN.

Recycling

Philips Arena is dedicated to the sustainability of our environment and is committed to reducing our environmental footprint:

Here are some examples of our efforts:

  • Philips Arena was built using crushed concrete and foundation pilings from the Omni minimizing ground disturbance.
  • The Omni seats were refurbished and used in the Philips Arena seating bowl.
  • Carpet and furniture is reused, recycled, or donated to local Georgia charities.
  • Every light bulb, ballast, and battery is recycled through Southeast Recycling to prevent mercury from leeching into the environment.
  • Philips Arena sends its plastic, aluminum, glass, cardboard, and paper waste to SP Recycling. Currently, 15% of our waste is now recycled.
  • Paper products such as paper towels, TP, and copy paper are all 100% consumer recycled content.
  • Adapted a Green Cleaning program eliminating harsh chemicals and reducing the need for water in many areas of the operation.

RED by Wind Creek

RED by Wind Creek is open from the time doors open until the end of Hawks games and other ticketed events. Three key design elements were incorporated to make RED’s dining experience not only unique to Atlanta, but to the arena and stadium industry at large. They include: Tiered level seating within the restaurant and bar space allowing for optimal visibility of the court from inside, terraced sit-down dining accommodations within the arena seating bowl providing for a premium view of the action on the floor, and a centrally located show kitchen for guests to enjoy the excitement of chefs preparing meals.

Restrooms

Philips Arena has restrooms conveniently located throughout the arena. Philips Arena team members can help direct you to the closest location to your seats.

Family restrooms are located at Portals 13, 20 and 27.

Security / Crowd Management Procedures

Philips Arena utilizes a staff of security officers and police officers in and around the facility, as well as video technology to enhance the safety and security of our guests, clients and employees. The arena is staffed to meet the needs of the crowd as well as the requirements of the client.

Smoking Policy

Philips Arena is a smoke-free facility and smoking is prohibited indoors, including the use of vapor pens and e-cigarettes. There are designated outdoor smoking locations, with one exclusively for club and suite guests.

Strollers

Guests are welcome to bring their children to the arena in strollers, but all strollers will need to be checked in upon entry.

  • Guests sitting in sections 108 – 122, or any section in the 200’s, 300’s or 400’s must check strollers at the Guest Service Center located across from Portal 9 near the Hawk Walk / CNN Entrance immediately after entry.
  • Guests sitting in 101 – 107 must check strollers at the Concierge Desk adjacent to the Georgia’s Own Credit Union Club Entrance.
  • Guests sitting in suites are allowed to keep their strollers but must store them in their suite during the event.

Telephones

Guests can visit the Guest Sales & Service Center, located near the Hawk Walk entrance across from Portal 9, to use the telephone for any urgent matters.

Tickets

Tickets to most arena events can be purchased online at www.ticketmaster.com, charge by phone (800) 745-3000, at all Ticketmaster outlets and at the Philips Arena Box Office.

Water Fountains

Water fountains are located on the lower level of the arena at Portals 2, 4, 11 and 13; and on the upper level at Portals 23, 28 and 32.

Websites & Social Media

Will Call

Will Call is located at the Philips Arena Box Office on Centennial Olympic Park Drive. Will Call will open 30 minutes prior to the scheduled door time.

The Will Call window closes at varying times depending on the event. Guests needing to pick up Will Call tickets after the ticket window has closed must go to the Hawk Walk Entrance and speak to a guest services representative.

When picking up tickets from Will Call, guests must have a picture ID matching the name on the tickets.
